At the end of June 2022, Tianjin Xinyue received an inquiry from an Australian customer about the pipe used for wharf piles, with a steel pipe OD of 508mm * WT of 20mm, Grade 350, and a single length of 31-42m.
After receiving the inquiry, Xinyue immediately established a dedicated project team to issue corresponding drawings, the most suitable steel pipe type, and shipping plan according to customer requirements. After two months of negotiation and discussion, both parties finally confirmed the final procurement plan and shipment plan at the end of September 2022.
All goods have been produced under the witness of a third party designated by the customer, and have passed chemical composition, mechanical properties, impact toughness testing, NDT on straight weld & circumferential weld, and final product visual and dimension inspection.
Currently, all goods have been shipped and are expected to arrive at the port of destination in early April
